February Gardening Activities for the Greater Cincinnati area

February is for planning - ordering seeds and plants, and sketching out changes in the garden's layout. Dormant spraying, pruning and preparing to start seeds are also on the list of February projects.

In Cincinnati, the average high temperature in February is 43 degrees F and the average low is 25 degrees. We usually get 2.8 inches of precipitation, with much of that coming from our average 5.5 inches of snow.
